What is "green washing". Green Washing is when a company or organization spends more time and money claiming to be "GREEN" through advertising than the time they actually spend implementing business practices to minimize their environmental impact. And because of this, Premier Resorts at Barefoot Resort lists the items that are currently GREEN at our property. Through the continuing effort of our company this short list will soon include additional items as we strive to become a leader in the going green movement. Every time we successfully "GREEN" an item or action it will be added to our list. Premier Resorts at Barefoot Resort is taking the initiative to help our environment and to secure a better future for everyone. We welcome everyone’s comments and ideas. - Left over food from banquets given to local food shelter
- Recycling all ink cartridges

- Recycling all unused and old newspapers and given to the local Humane Society for bedding for animals.
